Resort Review in Abu Dhabi: Qasr Al Sarab Desert Resort by Anantara – a fortress of luxury

Well, at the age of twenty-three, I got to experience how it felt to be the neighbour to the sexiest animated Disney characters of all-time, Aladdin and Jasmine.

I live in Dubai so it takes a good 3 hours to drive to the secluded resort, which is, literally, in the middle of a no-where land. We were soon captured by the majestic and prestigious sand Palace, highly impressed by the sophisticated design, mosaic texture. Our suite, needless to say, was a proper definition of lavish, and “larger than life” with jewel-embedded chandelier, spacious bedroom with a pleasant aroma. The balcony offered the view of a vast golden space.

We wish we could have spent more time and tried out the Dining by Design. Due to the extreme weather condition, we had to call off the date. It was however a lovely staycation, away from the wild and busy Dubai.

An once-in-a-lifetime experience that I would highly recommend. The best time to really enjoy the scenery and appreciate the beauty of the property is during the winter period (November to February).

Now, back to work.

Much love from Dubai,
